Use this slider and PSA lapping films to take your Work Sharp Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener to the next level. This slider is a replica of the official work sharp slider (Photo comparison shown. Original not included).
With this slider, you can easily mount PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) lapping films to a dedicated surface instead of using the ceramic stone that comes with the sharpener.
Using this will allow you to save time by not having to peel and stick films to your ceramic stone every time you change grits. You will also preserve the films adhesive from excessive use.

Recommend only pulling slider down, away from sharpener so as not to cut into the lapping film.

PRO TIP: If you're careful not to drag too far down off the edge of your blade, you may also use a neodymium magnet on the end of the guide rod in lieu of the rubber stopper ring to make swapping sliders even more quick and easy!
