    This is a very interesting and rare piece. It is a 1939 Bemis Bro Bag Co. Christmas Card, the piece is interesting because o the front is matting, which can flip open to reveal a very nice print, which is attached to the front of the card, thats what the matting covers nicely, the print is marked "Sage's Mill near Salisbury Conn L.P. Harting" The when you open the card it has a nice little motto wishing someone a merry chrustmas from the bemis bro bag co, Hugh A Mosby Memphis , Cristmas 1939. Someone marked the back with some pencil in the top corner shown in last picture, it does have discoloration and foxing, please see pictures this is what we are selling. measures 9 1/2" by 7 1/2" roughly.
