  • Condition: This is in good condition for its age. Arms and legs move. The body doesn't have any marks or stains on it that I see. The hair needs some attention -- I tried to condition it and comb it out a bit, but didn't want to mess it up more. It looks like it has been cut significantly (very short). Her body is very clean. Garments appear to be homemade, no closure at back. No undergarments.

    Offered is a Nancy Ann Storybook Doll
    Very short strawberry blonde hair (has been cut very short)
    No wrist tags; long dress which appears to be homemade; white wide band covers hair (held with a straight pin)
    No closure on back of dress ( just needs a little snap), but there are two small buttons for trim on back
    Painted on black flat shoes / slippers
    No undergarments, no hat
    This is one of the well-known Sleep Eye Plastic dolls from 1950+
    Moveable arms and legs and wears original clothes
    Has the Storybook Doll USA registered trademark stamped into the upper back
    Measures 5 1/2" tall
